From the Canton Senior Center, Elder Human Services Director Diane Tynan hosts the event that honors the late Betty Lethin. She was Canton's former public health nurse, HESCO president, she helped establish the Canton Food Pantry, and was recognized by the State of Massachusetts for her contribution to the community as well as being Canton's Citizen of the year. Betty Lethin's family gives tributes.

The Confidante: the Untold Story of the Woman Who Helped Win WWII and Shape Modern America by Christopher Gotham tells the story of Anna Marie Rosenberg, whose influence on American history, from the New Deal to the Cold War and beyond, has never before been told.
Christopher Gorham holds degrees from the University of Michigan, Tufts University and Syracuse University College of Law. His writing has appeared in the Washington Post and online publications. The Confidante is his first book. He and his wife, Elizabeth, live in Watertown and Chatham, Massachusetts.

"Canton Writes" awards were presented by the "Friends of the Library" in Canton. This "Day 2" features award winners of the very young.
