In this straightforward and honest interview, Arafat Knight talks about the realities of being a veteran and servicing that community. He also talks about the support he gets from Canton's administrators, its volunteer Honor Guard, built by his predecessor, Tony Andreotti, and the traditions he will maintain. He also gives details to Tim about specific ceremonies in town to honor veterans.

Weather initially brings the ceremonies inside to the Edward Beaty American Legion Post 24, as town officials join with Canton's Veteran Agent, Arafat Knight, to recognize those of Canton who died while in military service. Petty Officer Ernie Trombley, Com., John Carrington and Brigadier General, Frank LaBollita are among the high ranking officers who joined the celebration. Canton Veteran Jack O'Neil and Canton's World War II Veteran Bob DeYeso, now in his mid 90's, jog up to lay wreaths at Veteran's Memorial Park. Canton High School's David Turcotte talks with CCTV's Tim O'Connor about plans for Friday, June 4th graduation. Mr. Turcotte explains graduation ceremonies are back on the traditional football field this year but configurations are a bit different from normal years. DESE--Department of Education & Secondary Education--sent out pandemic guidelines for all MA schools for graduation ceremonies weeks back as schools need plan, even as guidelines from the governor may update.
