Along with the specifics of the day's free and fun activities, Victor talks about the history of this formerly mortifying Plymouth Rubber site and, after several years of negotiations, volunteer help and community efforts, is now transformed into a kind of Canton town historic square. The author is a farmer, a father, husband, musician and computer consultant, living in Easton, MA. Diagnosed late in life as being on the spectrum, he shares his insights on happiness despite adversity.

"The Alchemist Baker," owner and Pastry Chef, Ambreen Hasan, talks with CCTV's Andrea Galvin about her shop at the corner of Washington and Mechanic Streets in Canton, MA.
Her specialty is making a variety of scones and she demonstrates how she makes them in this piece (See video at CantonCommunityTv.org). But it is a full bakery with everything from pastries, cookies, cakes to pies. She caters and can make gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free pastries upon request. She also has coffee from a local coffee roaster, Aero Coffee Roasters from Northboro, MA. And has other drinks including, “Old Fashioned Milkshakes”.

This wildly popular presentation at the Canton library featured cat behaviorist, Dr. Rachel Geller. She talks about cats, why they do what they do and how we might understand their behavior better. She helps, for free, thousands of owners who have cat problems that may force them to give their cat up, keep the cats they love. Up to Speed: Canton Reads 2022. “How to be a Good Creature” by Sy Montgomery is the town's book this year. Canton's Public Library (CPL) is hosting animal events all month as part of the celebration that will also be covered by CCTV. CCTV's Andrea Galvin talks with CPL director, Andrea Capone, on the book and the details of the creature themed programs coming to the library for the month of April as well as a discussion on this very accessible book that both Andreas say will be enjoyed by all.

One of Canton Community Tv's founders, Tony Andreotti, passed this week (April of 2022.) Tony served on the committee that started this organization in 1983. He served on the Board at Norton Hospital, was Canton's town treasurer but is probably best known serving as Canton's Veteran's Agent.
