Dr. Hylander earned his PhD at Boston College and has been a professor of history at various local colleges and universities as well as a public affairs commentator on local cable news and radio. He discussed the writing of the Declaration and how it was mostly written by Thomas Jefferson and that it was much longer but was edited down. This Anthony Sammarco presentation was recorded by CCTV in July, 2022 and made possible by the Canton Senior Center.
